Azure Arc

Introduced in November 2019, Azure Arc is a Microsoft service that extends Azure management and Azure services to any IT infrastructure, enabling users to manage their Windows Servers and Linux servers, Kubernetes clusters, and data services across on-premises, multi-cloud, and edge environments from a “single pane of glass”. Azure Arc facilitates the deployment of Azure services anywhere, applying Azure management, Azure security, and Azure governance capabilities to a diverse set of Azure resources. This integration allows for the seamless application of Azure management tools like Azure Policy and Azure Monitor, regardless of where the resources are physically located, promoting a more unified and flexible approach to Azure hybrid and multi-cloud computing by bringing the Azure control plane and Azure management capabilities to virtually any cloud infrastructure and on-prem infrastructure.


Azure Arc
